Shark Wake Park

Experience a day on the water like never before at Shark Wake Park. This family-friendly  wakeboarding and obstacle park offers an unforgettable experience for thrill seekers of all ages. Located inside  the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex, Shark Wake Park is one of the most adventurous things to do in North Myrtle Beach and offers a fun and unique way to cool off during a hot summer day.

Overcome Obstacle Island

Jump, run, and splash the day away on the thrilling "Wipeout" style floating course - Obstacle Island! This aquatic playground floats over 10-15 feet of water and features monkey bars, climbing tours, slides, and more.
Each play session lasts about 50 minutes, giving you ample time to explore, conquer obstacles, and improve your skills. The only requirement is that you are able to swim and be above the age of seven.

Conquer the Cable Park

Make waves and experience the thrill of wakeboarding at Shark Wake Park. This  state-of-the-art facility offers the ultimate wakeboarding experience for riders of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned pros.

Shark Wake Park’s state-of-the-art cable park allows riders to kneeboard, wakeboard, and waterski, all without a boat. Here, you can glide across the water, catch air off ramps, and master your tricks in a safe and controlled environment.

If  you’ve never been to a cable park before, don’t worry; Shark Wake Park won’t feed you to the sharks. The park offers one-on-one lessons and mandatory safety lessons for children over 10. Successful completion of the lessons is rewarded with a complimentary two-hour pass at the park.

More fin-tastic times at Shark Wake Park

If you’re staying in North Myrtle Beach for a while this summer, consider having your own shark week! That is, spend a week or even the whole summer at Shark Wake Summer Camp.

The camp is open to children ages seven to fifteen and provides daily sessions at both Obstacle Island and the Cable Park Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with lunches provided on Fridays. No experience is required; the only requirements are to be able to swim, be at least 45” tall, and have fun!

If you’re looking to regain your sea legs for a moment or simply never had them to begin with, kick back and relax at the Shark Shack. There, you take your pick of ready-to-eat snacks, refreshments, beer, or wine while watching your loved ones conquer the water.
