Transportation

Whether you are planning a road trip or catching a flight, there are plenty of options to get you to North Myrtle Beach and get your visit started. We want your travel to be as breezy as our beaches, so pack your bags and let’s get you to North Myrtle Beach!

Catch a Flight!

Flying is a fast and convenient way to get your trip started. Voted best small airport in the U.S. 2021 by USA Today, the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) is only 30 minutes from North Myrtle Beach and offers nine different airline carriers from across the United States and Canada. With over 50 nonstop destinations and low average fares, flying to and from our area is easy and affordable.

In addition, North Myrtle Beach is a little over an hour away from the Wilmington International Airport (ILM). Both airports are small and easy to navigate, making the stress of travelling a little easier.

Hit the Road!

If a road-trip is more your style, break out the atlas! North Myrtle Beach is approximately 90 minutes from access to I-95 and I-74, and even less time to I-40,  making your trip from North to South, or West to East a breeze! While you're in town, most area attractions can be found along Highway 17, and your accommodations will likely be easy access from Hwy. 17 or Ocean Boulevard. The Carolina Bays Parkway, also known as Highway 31, allows drivers to bypass the stop lights and can quickly take you from Murrells Inlet to Little River as you explore the 60 miles of Grand Strand.

Getting Around Town

Once you're here, plan to kick back and relax. Rent a golf cart to get you around town, or plan to hop aboard the Coast RTA line that services North Myrtle Beach. Cruise along the Intracoastal Highway when you rent and boat or jet-ski, or plan to adventure our marshes when you rent a kayak or paddleboard
