The Great Christmas Light Show in North Myrtle Beach

Celebrate the season at The Great Christmas Light Show, happening November 23 through December 30, 2026, at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex. This beloved holiday tradition features more than two million lights and over 500 magical displays—some reaching up to 55 feet tall—along a two-mile drive through the park.

Watch enchanting animated figures and festive scenes come to life from the comfort of your vehicle. Then on select nights, you're invited to park your car and visit Santa’s Village where you can enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores, get an up-close look at the lights on the Santa Express Train Ride, and, of course, meet Santa!

Plan Your Holiday Visit

The Great Christmas Light Show shines from November 23 through December 30, 2026, giving you plenty of opportunities to add a little extra sparkle to your holiday getaway. Gather your family, turn up your favorite Christmas music and make your way to the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex, where the gates are open nightly from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

To enjoy the complete experience, plan your visit for a night when Santa’s Village is open. The Village welcomes guests Thursday through Sunday from November 27 through December 6, then opens nightly from December 10 through December 30.

Both the drive-through light show and Santa’s Village are closed on Christmas Day, December 25. The drive-through show is also closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26.

Admission

Pack the car with your favorite people and enjoy an entire evening of holiday cheer for one vehicle admission price. Tickets are purchased at the entrance when you arrive, so there’s no need to reserve in advance or buy online.

Admission for standard vehicles is $25 on nights when Santa’s Village is open. On select non-Village nights through December 9, standard vehicle admission is $20.

Bringing a larger group along for the fun? Admission is $50 for small buses and trolleys under 30 feet. Charter buses measuring 30 feet or longer are $100 and may visit Monday through Thursday only.

Please leave golf carts, attached pull-behind trailers, boats and flatbeds at home, as they cannot be accommodated along the light show route.

Santa's Village

The holly jolly fun doesn’t stop there! After the light show, step into Santa’s Village for hot chocolate, s’mores, festive photo ops and, of course, a visit with the big man himself. Cozy up by the fire, meet a few furry friends at the petting zoo, dance along to Santa’s Rockin’ Christmas Tree Show or enjoy a sweet treat as you soak up the magic of the season.

Santa’s Village is open Thursday through Sunday from November 27 through December 6 and nightly from December 10 through December 30, except Christmas Day.

The Santa Express Train Ride and More Village Fun

All aboard the Santa Express! Tucked inside Santa’s Village, this family-friendly train ride offers a closer look at the twinkling lights and festive displays. Settle in with your little elves and enjoy a cheerful ride through the holiday magic—you may even spot a reindeer along the way! Tickets are $3 per person, and children ages 3 and younger ride free when seated on an adult’s lap.

The fun continues with Reindeer Games and the Sleigh Ride Slide, where little adventurers can swoop into the spirit of the season. The slide is $3 for two rides, and riders must be at least 36 inches tall. Pricing for Reindeer Games varies.

Dashing Through the Glow Fun Run

Be among the first to experience the lights during Dashing Through the Glow on November 20 and 21, 2026. This approximately two-mile, noncompetitive walk and run follows The Great Christmas Light Show route before finishing in Santa’s Village.

Wear your favorite holiday-themed outfit for a chance to win prizes for the best-dressed individual and family. Registration is required, and participation is available while space remains so be sure to sign up soon!

The Great Christmas Light Show takes place at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex. Tickets are purchased at the entrance, so simply gather your crew, hop in the car and get ready for a sparkling night of holiday fun. Accessible parking and shuttles are available for guests who need them.
