North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation

Step into the welcoming world of North Myrtle Beach’s Parks and Recreation, where every moment invites play, relaxation, and connection. Feel the thrill of running the bases, the cool splash of a refreshing swim, or the joy of sharing laughs during a family reunion surrounded by stunning parks made for unforgettable experiences.

Game On or Chill Out in Central Park

Spread across 20 acres, Central Park features youth softball fields, batting cages, half-court basketball, lighted tennis, and pickleball courts. For something a little more relaxed, take a stroll along our paved walking path, grab a snack from the concession stand, and rest under one of the three, reservable, picnic shelters.

Explore Fields, Trails, and Events Year-Round

The J. Bryan Floyd Community Center offers fields for soccer, baseball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, batting cages, and pickleball, plus playgrounds and picnic areas. Inside, enjoy yoga, martial arts, Zumba, youth tennis, art classes, and more.

The 160-acre North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex features fields for multiple sports, a 20-acre lake with water activities, playgrounds, walking trails, a cable wake park, and a dog park while McLeod Meadow provides open space for recreation and picnics. The open-air amphitheater hosts concerts, plays, and events like the Sounds of Summer Concert Series and The Great Christmas Light Show, offering year-round entertainment in a beautiful natural setting.

Dive into Fun

Make a splash at the North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center’s 20-foot waterslide before heading over to their eight-lane, 25-yard lap pool. If that’s a little too intense, they also have a warm water therapy pool. Your adventure doesn’t end when you towel off—hit the gym for basketball, racquetball, fitness classes, or dive back in for swim lessons.
