We may like to keep it casual in North Myrtle Beach (NMB), but we take our food very, very, seriously. From stacks of pancakes at breakfast to all-you-can-eat crab legs at dinner, there are lots of delicious places to eat throughout NMB.

Fishing For Compliments

Nearly everything on the menu at Rockefeller’s Raw Bar is seafood. They have all the traditional favorites, but it’s their Infamous Steam Kettles that bring people back. Spicy shrimp, crawfish, and the Golfer’s Special are favorites.

You can’t miss the Giant Crab Seafood restaurant because a giant crab is hovering over the front door. Inside, they have a buffet with anything a seafood lover would want. The raw and steamed bar is stocked with crawfish, mussels, clams, and a Low Country Boil. There are also trays of snow crab legs, Mahi Mahi, fried scallops, and more. Everyone in your family, not a seafood fan? They don’t know what they’re missing, but there is freshly carved prime rib, pasta, and a kid’s station.

Platt's Seafood, located in Cherry Grove, is the place to go for great quality seafood sourced both locally and internationally. One of the area's largest and most trusted seafood markets, Platt’s Seafood can also prepare your meals, including bulk steamed seafood and carry out plate offerings of local traditional recipes.

We’ll Drink (and Eat) to That!

Taco Tuesday with a side of tequila, a craft brew during a big game, or sipping a Sea Breeze while enjoying the sea breeze. Offering more than just a cold drink, our breweries serve up food to please your palate. Crooked Hammock Brewery is a big backyard party. Share a hammock with a friend and sip a seasonal brew while munching on smashed avocado and a grilled shrimp burger.

Watch your home team away from home. Calli Baker’s Firehouse Bar & Grill has walls of TVs and a menu for any sports fan. The Firehouse Tacos dish is a local favorite. Main Street Taphouse has 24 craft brews on tap, most from regional breweries. The flatbread and panini pair well with the beers, and don’t miss their Maryland crab dip!

For a taste of Ireland without the hassle of international travel, Molly Darcy’s is the place to be. Irish whiskeys and craft beers wash down Shepherd’s Pie or a plate of Bangers and Mash, giving you an authentic taste of the Emerald Isle.

Steak Your Claim to Fine Dining

White table cloths, polished silverware, and wine glasses waiting for you to decide what will fill them. A night out with a touch of class is a great way to spend an evening in NMB. 21 Main at North Beach will start you off with oysters and lobster bisque. Then you make the tough decision between steak, lamb, or King Crab Legs.

Filet’s has a water view and a menu that will keep you coming back again and again. Start with smoked, thick bacon, then move on to a cooked-to-order steak with one of their suggested pairings. New York Prime has a menu of mouth-watering steaks, with the center cut filet being popular with many palates.

Breakfast, Brunch, & Sweet Treats

North Myrtle Beach does the most important meal of the day right, with plenty of breakfast and brunch restaurants to choose from. Get your day started with a stack of pancakes covered in fruit and dripping in sauce. Blueberry’s Grill in Barefoot Landing has everything from fresh muffins to sweet potato pancakes.

When your sweet tooth calls, NMB’s delicious ice cream shops and dessert options have you covered. Check out Melt where their ice cream, waffle cones, and more will give you a sugar rush worth repeating during your vacation.
