Jet Ski and Boat Rentals

Private jet ski and boat rentals are a favorite among visitors looking to spend a day out on the water. From crashing through ocean waves at high speeds to cruising along the Intracoastal Waterway, there’s something to fit everyone’s taste and pace.

You’ll find a variety of jet ski and boat rental companies around North Myrtle Beach, including:

  • Action Water Sportz
  • Myrtle Beach Watersports (located in North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach)
  • Thomas Outdoors Water Sports

To rent a jet ski, you must be at least 18-years-old and maintain a valid driver’s license. While they cannot rent it, a 16-year-old with a valid driver’s license may drive a jet ski with parental consent. Most jet ski rentals are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis; so try to get to the rental company early, especially if you have a large party.

Like jet skis, all boat rentals require a valid driver’s license. However, most boat rental companies will not rent to anyone under 21 years of age. If renting a boat on the Intercoastal Waterway, you typically will be required to keep the boat in the Waterway and will need to return or dock the boat by dusk.
