The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach will partner with the City of North Myrtle Beach and Black Dog Running Company to host the seventh annual “Run for the Shelter” 5k Fun Run and 1 mile Dog Walk on Saturday, March 28, 2020. This year we are taking the run/walk to the beach!  The event will start at the Horseshoe in North Myrtle Beach.  This is a wonderful event for walkers, runners, families and animal lovers to get out and exercise and help fund critical programs and services for homeless and abused animals in our community.  The morning includes a 5k fun run or 1 Mile Walk on the beach for participants with their dogs if they choose, snacks & drinks afterwards, prizes for the top 3 individual fundraisers, and giveaways.
