Teddy's Top Five

Sir Teddy is a permanent family member at the Humane society of North Myrtle Beach, and a hometown celebrity. Teddy wanted to help you and your family plan the perfect pup-cation in North Myrtle Beach. Here are Teddy’s Top 5 favorite things for Dogs to do in North Myrtle Beach.

1. Ride around on Golf Carts

There's nothing better than cruising down Mainstreet with the wind blowing through your hair.  You and your family can enjoy the experience just as much as Teddy by renting a golf cart through A-Jax Golf Cart Rentals, Graham Golf Cars, or Salty Frye’s Golf Cart

2. Hit the Sand

Let your pup experience the tranquility of the sand and sea! During the summer months (May 15th through September 15th) dogs are nor permitted on the beach between 9 a.m. 5p.m. but are free to make a splash outside of those hours, or anytime during the fall!

3. Mingle at The North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex

Looking for a dog park while you're in town? The North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex not only has plenty of room to let your pup run free, but they also have a large and small dog section for dogs of all sizes and ages to play!

4. Prance around Barefoot Landing

Barefoot Landing is very pup friendly, some shops even have treats set out for your four-legged friend to enjoy. Each restaurant and shop has their own unique pet policy, so please be sure to double check with each establishment for further details.

5. Retail Therapy at Shops on Main

Let your furry friend explore the shops on main while you shop till you drop, there are even a few places for you to pick up a treat or two for your canine!

Want to show off your pup? Use #ExploreNMB for a chance to have your four-legged friend featured!
