Finding something everyone will love is easier said than done. But in North Myrtle Beach, you’ll have no problem keeping everyone busy and having fun all summer. Explore the great outdoors and indoors, dine oceanfront, and enjoy some friendly competition – after all, NMB has something for everyone in the family.

Explore the Outdoors

During your vacation in NMB, you’ll want to hit the beach, partake in water activities, and create memories on water and land.

First on the agenda is a watersport excursion. You can explore the nooks and crannies of NMB on a traditional kayak. For a little more speed, hop on a fishing boat or jet ski, and if you want to cruise along the waterways and let someone else take the reins, join a dolphin cruise and hang out with some of our favorite residents – the bottlenose dolphins. Another way to cruise the waterways is on The Barefoot Queen Riverboat Cruises. Choose between a sightseeing or special event cruise on the old-fashioned boat and enjoy the scenic voyage along the Intracoastal Waterway.

On land, you can ride horseback to explore untouched beaches and enjoy the fresh, salty air. Join a guided tour with Inlet Point Plantation, which offers hour-long beach rides to the undeveloped and pristine Waites Island, where you can enjoy shelling and wildlife watching along with water activities like paddle boarding or kayaking.
Take a swing on a professional golf course like the Barefoot Resort & Golf or at a mini-golf attraction, including Hawaiian Rumble Golf, which features 18 holes and revolves around a giant volcano replica.

The Great Indoors

When you need a break from the sun, head indoors and find a world of lights, music, and family fun.

For a day or night filled with music, hit one or two of the popular music venues at Barefoot Landing – the Alabama Theatre, featuring their brand new show ICONIC, and the House of Blues, a world-renowned concert hall and restaurant.

Kids (and the kids at heart) will love LuLu’s Beach Arcade. Play arcade games, collect points, and redeem your prizes before or after dining at LuLu’s North Myrtle Beach. Be sure to snap a selfie in front of the retro Volkswagen bus before you leave. You can pre-purchase arcade credits.

Take a lap or two around the track at K1 Speed. The 20-horsepower electric karts can reach speeds of up to 45 miles per hour! While you don't need a drivers license, junior racers need to be at least 48" tall.

For more indoor fun, stop by 810 Billiards & Bowling featuring games like table tennis, cornhole, shuffleboard, and the namesake billiards and bowling. There’s a restaurant and bar inside and weekly events like karaoke, happy hour, and trivia. Save room for dessert! Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar serves delicious milkshakes piled high with toppings like candy, whole cupcakes, waffles, cookies and more!

Relax, Refresh & Refuel

Between all the fun activities you have planned in North Myrtle Beach, refueling at our restaurants, breakfast spots, and sweet shops is part of the experience.

Start your day with a stop at quick-service Duck Donuts, which serves made-to-order donuts, savory sandwiches, and coffee drinks, including frappes. Or at the Golden Griddle Pancake House, a sit-down restaurant where you can choose from popular breakfast items like omelets and french toast.

In the middle of the day, you can find mouth-watering options at every turn, especially at Barefoot Landing, which features over a dozen options under one locale, from Landshark Bar & Grill to the Wild Wing Cafe.

At the end of a jam-packed day, gather around the table for a delicious dinner. Enjoy oceanfront views and seafood entrées at the Boardwalk Beach Cafe off the Cherry Grove Pier. Another delicious family-friendly spot is the Giant Crab, which offers an equally giant buffet (170-plus items!) with a kids section.

Choose your own adventure and enjoy a fun-filled family vacation in North Myrtle Beach this summer! It’s not too late to plan an unforgettable trip.
