NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Nov. 3, 2015 – The most wonderful time of the year is quickly approaching and the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Convention & Visitors Bureau has a festive lineup of family-friendly activities to celebrate the winter holiday season, including its all-new Christmas Wonderland.

The city of North Myrtle Beach, in partnership with Little Spider Creations, is excited to announce this brand new holiday extravaganza. From Thanksgiving evening, Nov. 26, through Dec. 31* the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex will transform into a Christmas Wonderland in a magical family celebration of the season. This unique family-friendly event will feature activities for all ages including a ride-through light show, 3-D “Trip to the North Pole” Walk, a Christmas puppet show and professionally staged special effects stunt show. Attendees can also participate in South Carolina’s first interactive holiday paintball attraction.

*The Christmas Wonderland attraction will be closed on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1-2, 7-9, 14-16 and 25.

In addition to the all-new extravaganza, the city of North Myrtle Beach provides quality family entertainment with these annual holiday events:

  • Snowball Drop at Duffy Street Seafood Shack (Nov. 28; 10-11 a.m.) At its third annual event, over 1,500 snowballs will be dropped off of the roof of Duffy Street Seafood Shack with freebies, discounts and more from North Myrtle Beach businesses.
  • Intracoastal Christmas Regatta/Boat Parade (Nov. 28; 5-7 p.m.) Each year, the curtain rises on this spectacular maritime parade at the Little River Inlet travelling South and arriving at Dock Holidays Marina at 7 p.m. Gather family, and friends and watch the parade as it passes various viewing areas along the Intracoastal Waterway.
  • North Myrtle Beach Christmas Tree Lighting (Dec. 4; 6-7 p.m.) Join Santa and his friends at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex for the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree. Activities, entertainment and refreshments will be available for guests of all ages.
  • North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade on Main Street (Dec. 5; 5:30-7 p.m.) Attendees will be dazzled by a parade of lighted floats and units representing local organizations at the annual Christmas Parade down Main Street.
