Employer Information from SCDEW and SC Works

As we come out of the pandemic, we know our industry needs more workers. In partnership with SC Works, employers can get help filling positions using many of the resources offered by the SC DEW. The state’s SC Works system offers services to help employers screen and match, hire, train and retain workers. In addition, SC Works representatives can walk you through business tax credits, workforce programs and labor market information.

At this time, individuals collecting unemployment insurance in South Carolina must complete mandatory job searches through the DEW portal at least twice a week. If you are not a registered business with DEW, you may want to complete that process so your job posts will be seen during the job seekers mandatory searches.

DEW will be hosting workshops so that you can learn more about registration and the resources available.
