Take the Family to WonderWorks

Are you looking for something fun and exciting to do with the family on vacation? You can spend the afternoon at the popular attraction, WonderWorks. The science laboratory is located at Broadway at the Beach and is a house that is upside down. Trust us, you can’t miss it!

WonderWorks is the perfect attraction for exploring, learning new things and letting your imagination run wild. There are more than 100 hands-on exhibits and interactive displays for kids and adults. A great activity for the entire family is the zipline and ropes course. It’s a fun way to challenge everyone in the group. Another group activity is to compete in a game or two of laser-tag.

Visitors of the attraction can experience many different interactive sites including a 74-mile per hour hurricane, lying on a bed of 3,500 nails, piloting a fighter jet and managing the control of a NASA spacecraft. Did you ever wonder what it would feel like to be a human lightning rod? Place your hand in a mesh, armor glove and watch as 100,000 volts of electricity touches your fingertips.

Do you think you can pass the nerve and physical tests? There are exhibits like the Pulley Power, Virtual Sports, the Wonder Wall and the Bubble Lab that challenge your brain activity. Whoever can stay the calmest and relaxed is the ultimate winner.

WonderWorks is open at 11 a.m. daily, seven days a week. Admission is $14.99 for seniors and children 4-12; adult ticket prices are $22.99. If you are looking for more information on ticket prices or what the attraction has to offer, call 843-626-9962.
