If you’re a serious lifter who likes to warm up (or cool down) with a little cardio, you can use their numerous treadmills, bikes, step machines, ellipticals, or the two-lane jogging and walking track.
If you’re a Crossfit enthusiast, you won’t need to take a break from your usual routine. CrossFit North Myrtle Beach welcomes visitors by offering daily passes, weekly passes or a pack of 20 passes.
#2: WALK IT OUT
With nine miles of pristine coastline, be sure to take a walk (or a few) on the beach. If you’re not staying at a beachfront home or condo, don’t worry: there are plenty of public beach access points.
North Myrtle Beach is full of other beautiful places to stroll, too. If you love the great outdoors, head to Heritage Shores Nature Preserve for seven acres of walking paths that wind through the marshlands. As you walk, read the park’s helpful signage to learn about the plants, animals, fish and birds you’ll see in the park.
Hoping for a more action-packed walk? Head to the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex. Walking paths will help you discover every bit of the expansive grounds, including playgrounds, sports fields and a dog park. During the spring and summer, you can watch families zip through the treetops at Go Ape Zip Line & Treetop Adventure or wakeboarders catching some major air at neighboring Shark Wake Park.
#3: SALUATE THE SUN
There are few things more relaxing than practicing yoga on the beach. No matter if you’re an expert yogi or if you prefer a gentle stretch at sunrise, it’s as easy as grabbing your beach towel and enjoying the gentle sound of the waves.

#4: TRY A NEW SPORT
If you haven’t played a game of Pickleball, North Myrtle Beach is the place to give it a try! There are several locations across the Grand Strand where you can play this cross between tennis, badminton, and ping pong—and right here in North Myrtle Beach, you can play at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center at Central Park.
You can find other types of courts at several of the parks in North Myrtle Beach, like lighted tennis courts (at Central Park, Hill Street Park, and McLean Park) or ½ basketball courts (at Central Park and Yow Park).
#5: PRACTICE SELF-CARE
Part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle is allowing yourself time to slow down and relax. There are a number of ways to unplug on a vacation, but one of the most common ways is to treat yourself to an afternoon at the spa.
