Must-See Spring Events in North Myrtle Beach

One of the best ways to celebrate the start of Spring is by coming together with hundreds of your closest friends in the heart of North Myrtle Beach for one of our signature Spring events. With  family friendly festivities and the contagious atmosphere, this community knows how to celebrate the beginning of a new season in style.

Take St. Patrick’s Day. This year, North Myrtle Beach will host the 28th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on Saturday, March 12. This one-day, rain or shine event brings approximately 30,000 people from all over to celebrate the Irish culture and the promise of Spring. The day kicks off with a parade and is quickly followed by live music, rides and entertainment for the kids, and more than 100 vendors lining the entire Main Street. It is a sight to behold and the perfect way to kick off the season.

For a more low-key affair, take the kids over to McLean Park for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26. This free event includes a special appearance from the Easter Bunny and the ever-friendly Ms. Blossom. There will be games, treats and, of course, a race to collect the most Easter eggs. The best part? Everyone is a winner!

Free concerts in North Myrtle BeachSummer doesn’t officially start in North Myrtle Beach until the whole town comes out for Mayfest on Main®. The 11th annual Mayfest on Main® festival will feature live music from Starship, Dr. W and Mother’s Finest, plus craft and food vendors, a community stage and a children's area. Bring a beach chair to this family event, where you can browse the local shops on Main Street, grab a beer, or just enjoy the show! The festival begins at 10:00 a.m. and continues until 6:00 p.m on Saturday May 7.
