October Events in North Myrtle Beach

The summer may be over in North Myrtle Beach, but the events are just getting started! There are plenty of fun and exciting events that take place in the Grand Strand all year long. Here are the top October events happening in the area.

Annual Cruise to the Coast Car Show

Calling all car lovers! This event is for you. The 11th Annual Classic Car Show takes place on Saturday, October 8th; from 10am-4pm. You can expect to see a variety of classic cars in different models, styles, years and more. The event takes place at Barefoot Landing and is sure to be a great time. There will be entertainment, food and drinks.

Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival

Chicken bog is a South Carolina staple and a favorite by many. Chicken bog is made with rice, chicken, celery, onion, sausage and a special blend of spices. The Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival takes place on October 17th beginning at 9 a.m. Don’t miss out on the chicken bog cooking contest where one chef will be crowned winner with the best dish around. There will be more than 200 vendors at the festival, a kid’s area, fireworks, entertainment and more. 

Endless Summer Festival

It’s always summertime when you are at the beach! Come on down to Main Street in North Myrtle Beach on October 31st for a fun-filled day. The festival will be held from 10 am – 4 pm and is sure to entertain. Guests can expect vendors with specialty items, food vendors, kids activities and more. Plus there will be free music during the day, so don’t forget to bring a beach chair!
