The Great Christmas Light Show is a drive-through light show featuring more than 1.7 million lights festively displayed along a 1.5-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. For hours and admission information, visit their website.

When you are done seeing the lights, park your car and visit Santa’s Village. There you can enjoy treats like hot chocolate and s’mores and visit with Santa for FREE (yes, free!). You can also ice skate and zip-line through the trees at Go Ape Lighted Adventure.

This show is a combination of traditional Christmas classics, contemporary holiday favorites and hilarious comedy sure to entertain your whole group. Before the show, make dinner reservations at Greg Norman’s Australian Grille or one of the other great restaurants in Barefoot Landing. If you sit outside, you’ll enjoy dinner with a stunning view of the boats in the marina.

Owner, producer and entertainer Calvin Gilmore works year-round with world-renowned talent to create an unforgettable holiday experience. While you are here, be sure to notice the beautiful Christmas decorations. The Calvin Gilmore Theater has five Christmas trees (including a 30-foot lobby tree with 25,000 lights), 75 wreaths and more than five miles of tree lighting wire. Experience a high-seas tale, Christmas style! Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is a favorite of families visiting North Myrtle Beach. During this holiday special, you’ll enjoy a four-course dinner as the crew retells the Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol,” with a pirate’s spin. This Christmas parade of yachts and boats begins at Little River Inlet at 5:00 p.m. and travels south, arriving at Dock Holidays Marina at 7:00 p.m. Little River is a quick 15-minute drive from Cherry Grove. Gather your family and watch the parade as it passes various viewing areas along the waterway. During this event, new toys will be collected to donate to the children in Horry County. Drop off your donation at any marina in Little River or North Myrtle Beach during this event.

Be sure to head to Main Street in plenty of time to get a good spot for the famous North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade. The Christmas parade is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3. If you are staying in a beachfront condo, house, resort or hotel on Ocean Drive near the OD Pavilion, walk on over to watch the parade. Grab dinner before the parade starts at one of the many restaurants in the Main Street Ocean Drive areas, like Bouy’s Beach Bar and Grill.
