Flying Fish Barefoot Landing

Head over to Flying Fish Public Market & Grill for a great view and Happy Hour from 4 to 7 p.m. daily. The menu features homegrown ales at great prices, so be sure to try a few, including White Ale, Liberty Lager, Nut Brown or Cooper River Red. Along with your ale, dare to try the spicy oyster shooter with pepper infused vodka, Zing Zang bloody mix and Old Bay.

Lucy Buffet’s Lulu’s

Also located in Barefoot Landing is Lucy Buffet’s Lulu’s. Selling draft beer by the glass and by the pitcher, it’s hard to not enjoy the fun atmosphere that features waterfront dining, nightly live music and a large sandy beach. If you have a few in your group who would prefer a different kind of adult beverage, they’ll certainly find something to enjoy on LuLu’s extensive drink menu, which includes blended drinks, margaritas on the rocks and a variety of wine.

Hickory Tavern

Hickory Tavern is known for its great selection of local and regional craft beers transported from local breweries and distilleries. They have a wide selection, so there will always be something to please your palate. Hickory Tavern also features a Beer of the Month, private parties and a large sports bar perfect for game days. Fun fact: Hickory Tavern is ESPN’s only two-time finalist for “Best Sports Bar in North America.”

OD Arcade & Lounge

Grab a drink and hit the dance floor at the OD Arcade & Lounge on Ocean Boulevard, right in the heart of North Myrtle Beach. And if you're on the hunt of more brews to try, head down the road to The Grumpy Monk. Located right by the Tanger Outlets, The Grumpy Monk offers “real beer for crafty people.” One thing’s for sure . . . if you indulge in Happy Hour at this popular spot, you will not leave grumpy. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. As far as the beer goes, the selection is constantly changing but always offers 10 rotating taps from the Carolinas. Can’t get enough? New South Brewing

Take a quick 20-minute drive from North Myrtle Beach and you’ll see why New South Brewing doesn’t mess around. The motto is even “THE BEER FROM HERE. HAND CRAFTED. HAND CANNED.
