North Myrtle Beach 4th of July Fireworks 2018

Want to make sure your Independence Day sparkles? There are a number of 4th of July celebrations happening along the Grand Strand! In North Myrtle Beach, families can enjoy free firework displays at Barefoot Landing and the Cherry Grove Pier.

Barefoot Landing 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular

Barefoot Landing will be having a magnificent 4th of July fireworks show at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. For those who cannot make the July 4th fireworks show (or just cannot get enough!), Barefoot Landing has a sensational free firework show every Monday night all summer long, from June 4 through August 27.

Cherry Grove Pier 4th of July Fireworks

If you’re staying in (or near) the Cherry Grove neighborhood of North Myrtle Beach, there are 4th of July events near you, too! Watch this free fireworks show at the Cherry Grove Pier from the porch of your beach house or balcony of your hotel room or condo. The fireworks show begins around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4.


North Myrtle Beach Fireworks Laws

If you would prefer to light your own fireworks this 4th of July, there are many places to purchase them in North Myrtle Beach. While it is not illegal to buy fireworks in North Myrtle Beach, it is illegal to set them off within city limits or on the beach. In fact, it is illegal to set off fireworks within the city limits of any municipality along the Grand Strand. Police will be patrolling the beaches this 4th of July holiday and will fine visitors found using fireworks. Exceptions will be made for small sparklers being used responsibly.
