North Myrtle Beach 4th of July Events
Freedom, family and fireworks make the July 4th holiday weekend special. In North Myrtle Beach, there are plenty of fun (and free . . . yes, free) 4th of July events to help you celebrate. The festivities begin on Thursday, June 29, and last throughout the week. So grab your beach chairs, book a vacation rental and come celebrate 4th of July in North Myrtle Beach!
On Thursday, June 29, you can enjoy the Music on Main Concert Series from 7 p.m.–9 p.m. This free, family-friendly 4th of July event at the Horseshoe (11 S. Ocean Blvd.) only requires a beach chair and your dancing shoes!
On Friday, head over to Barefoot Landing for SummerFest. Every night from June 1 to September 2, Barefoot Landing comes alive with musical entertainment and plenty of fun for the kids during SummerFest!, sponsored by Wild Wing Café and the ever-famous House of Blues.
Be sure not to miss the Salute from the Shore on July 4th in North Myrtle Beach. On our nation’s birthday, head down to our beautiful beaches in your red, white and blue beach attire. Wave your American flag proudly as you watch vintage and modern fighter jets flying over the South Carolina coast. The flyover begins at 1:30 p.m. in Cherry Grove.
And, of course, what would a 4th of July celebration be without fireworks? Fourth of July fireworks can be viewed from the Cherry Grove Pier at 9:30 p.m., at Barefoot Landing at 9:30 p.m. and at Broadway at the Beach at 10 p.m.
We hope to see you this July 4th! No matter how you celebrate in North Myrtle Beach, be sure to share your patriotic photos on social media using #ExploreNMB. We’d love to share them too!
