North Myrtle Beach 4th of July Events

Freedom, family and fireworks make the July 4 holiday weekend special. Have your vacation rental booked and looking for ways to celebrate? We’ve rounded up 2019’s Fourth of July events happening along the Grand Strand.

It’s hard to miss Salute from the Shore, where a fleet of vintage and modern fighter jets fly through the skies in honor of our armed forces. On our nation’s birthday, the 10th Annual Salute from the Shore begins in North Myrtle Beach’s Cherry Grove at 1 p.m. Cheer and wave your American flag proudly as these jets soar over the South Carolina coast.

If you’re hoping to don your dancing shoes with your red, white and blue, head over to the Horseshoe on Ocean Drive on July 4 for Music on Main. This free concert series is fun for all ages and starts at 7 p.m.

And, of course, what would this holiday be without fireworks? Fourth of July fireworks can be viewed from the Cherry Grove Pier around 9:30 p.m., at Barefoot Landing at 10 p.m. or at Broadway at the Beach at 10 p.m.

Even if you aren’t here for Independence Day, be sure enjoy nightly entertainment during SummerFest! at the iconic Barefoot Landing. Every night from June 1 to August 31, this waterfront shopping and entertainment complex comes alive with music and kid-friendly fun starting at 7 p.m.

We hope to see you this July 4! No matter how you celebrate in North Myrtle Beach, be sure to share your patriotic photos on social media using #ExploreNMB and #JustCoast. We’d love to share them too!
