Yes, coolers are allowed on the beach. However, glass and alcohol are prohibited.
Beginning March 1st through October 31st, a daily parking fee of $2 per hour will be in place from 9 a.m.-5.pm. in public parking lots on either side of Ocean Boulevard. Paying for parking has been made simple to ensure your beach day remains hassle-free. You can download the Passport Parking app and pay directly from your phone. Using this app, you can extend your parking time from the comfort of your beach chair, and even get reminders when your time is running out. Many lots will also be equipped with Parkeon Pay N Go kiosks where you can pay with a credit card. These kiosks do not take coins or bills. If you do not have access to the app or a credit card, you may call the Park North Myrtle Beach office at (843)-480-3711 for assistance.
If you have a golf cart or car registered at a North Myrtle Beach address, you may receive a free parking decal for your vehicle. Your vehicle must be registered to your North Myrtle Beach address, and there is a limit of two free parking decals per household.
