Barefoot Resort

Some of the best vacations are when the whole family comes together and everything you could possibly need or want is right at your fingertips. The Barefoot Resort & Golf Community was built with that exact vacation in mind.

Enjoy unlimited access to luxurious, resort-styled accommodations and award-winning amenities including four championship golf courses, a waterfront resort, a first-class spa and a full-service marina. From the waterfront properties to the endless shopping, restaurants and entertainment available year-around at Barefoot Landing, it is no wonder why the Barefoot Resort & Golf Community is one of the most popular destinations in North Myrtle Beach.

This private, commercial property in the southern section of North Myrtle Beach near Windy Hill has an idyllic location along the Intracoastal Waterway, and connects directly to Barefoot Landing by way of a charming swing bridge.

If you are looking for a getaway that has it all, look no further than the Barefoot Resort & Golf Community.

History

The land where Barefoot Resort & Golf Community is located did not start to really develop until 1998, when the city of North Myrtle Beach permitted Silver Carolina Development and Barefoot Landing to build on the annexed area of more than 2,300 acres.

Once development began, the area grew to include many different housing options including single-family homes, condos, townhomes and a full-service marina. The city also oversaw the development of the area’s four championship golf courses, resort and conference center and wide range of restaurants.

Today, the community is sprawling and is home to many residents—many of whom are tourists who decided to stay.
