Interested in getting away with the one you love? Whether you want to plan a surprise trip for your significant other or plan your getaway as a couple, there is no better place to celebrate with your special someone than in North Myrtle Beach. This secluded beach oasis features four distinct communities that each features something truly memorable for your romantic getaway. Plus, you can always book your trip now for later in the year and give it as a Valentine’s Day present you can both look forward to until you go!

But don’t take our word for it. See for yourself in the sample itinerary we’ve prepared below for a long weekend in North Myrtle Beach (but you will probably want to stay longer):

Friday – Arrive at your choice of two romantic resorts: Tilghman Golf & Beach Resort , or Mar Vista Grande. From onsite fine dining to first-class spas, these resorts specialize in making you feel like royalty. After your check-in, go for a romantic walk along nine miles of the widest beaches the Grand Strand has to offer. You might even end your first night in town on the dance floor at one of our iconic Shag Clubs like Fat Harold’s!

Saturday – Watch the sunrise on the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier and grab a quick breakfast at one of the local restaurants lining Ocean Drive, like the iconic Hoskins. Then, head over to Touch MedSpa for a full day of relaxation and revitalization. Enjoy a couple’s massage, facials and everything else your heart (or sweetheart) desires. Once the pampering is complete, get ready for a romantic wine tasting a La Belle Amie Vineyards. Located on a historic tobacco farm, this iconic dance spot often features live music and a full vineyard. Be sure to check out their fabulous Valentine’s Bonfire. After you’ve had your fill of some of the best wine around, head over to the Alabama Theatre for some award-winning entertainment like “ONE The Show” or a guest concert!

Sunday – Since Sunday is typically a day of rest, sleep in—and maybe have breakfast in bed, or take in a service at one of our local churches. Then, take a short drive over to Inlet Point Plantation for a leisurely horseback ride along the surf. North Myrtle Beach is one of the few places that allow horses on the beach, so this part of the trip is a must. Afterwards, make sure to grab brunch at one of the best breakfast places in town.

And this is only the beginning. There are plenty more options to choose from. For more ideas for your romantic getaway to North Myrtle Beach, be sure to browse our “Stay”, “Eat”, and “Play” sections on our website.
