Wakesurfing at Shark Wake Park

Visit Shark Wake Park, located in the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex, for an exhilarating cable wakeboard experience. Even if you don’t wakeboard, you don’t want to miss this unique attraction!

You’re probably wondering what cable wakeboarding is. It’s where riders are pulled by a high-tech pulley system instead of a boat. Yes…you heard us right, no boat!

Shark Wake Park is open to all skill levels, from first-time wakesurfers to professionals. Featuring a 5-tower, full-size cable and 2-tower cable system, this is one of the easiest systems to learn on, but allows advanced riders to “go big” on the same cable seconds later. Shark Wake Park offers 2-hour, 4-hour and full-day wakeboarding options starting at $34.

There is no cost to enter the park. If wakeboarding isn’t your thing, but watching wakeboarding while drinking a cold Sweetwater beer is, visit The Shark Shack. Snacks and refreshments, including Sweetwater beer, are for sale. Featuring a large deck that overlooks the entire lake, it’s the perfect spot an afternoon watching riders perfect their jumps, flips and other tricks.
