The festive fun doesn’t stop there. The Christmas Tree Lighting on November 28 will light up the heart of North Myrtle Beach. Join Santa and his friends at McLean Park for performances, music, activities, and more.

If you like spending time outdoors then check out Dashing Through the Glow, a fun two-mile non-competitive walk/run through the Great Christmas Light Show. Plus it’s a healthy way to get into the holiday spirit. Experience the beauty of the season with a popular nighttime event on the water, the Christmas Regatta where boats decked in lights parade down the Intracoastal Waterway. And for more merry fun, enjoy watching a classic holiday tradition, the North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade, make its way down Main Street.

Spend time on the water with Christmas magic aboard the Barefoot Queen Riverboat’s North Pole Express Cruise. Come dressed in your favorite PJs while visiting with Santa and indulging in tasty treats.

Starting November 1st, you can see live performances like the Christmas Show of the South at the Carolina Opry and the The South's Grandest Christmas Show at Alabama Theatre. These shows are sure to keep your feet tapping and get you into the holiday spirit!

GIFTS FOR EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST

Make your list and check it twice! With a variety of boutiques in North Myrtle Beach, you’ll find a gift for everyone, even if they might be on the naughty list.

Find one-of-a-kind gifts for those hard to shop for people at the 42nd Annual Dickens Christmas Show and Festival. This “holiday tradition for shoppers year after year” is modeled after a Victorian holiday marketplace and features over 300 plus period clad vendors selling everything from jewelry to toys and more.

For Christmas lovers, Christmas Mouse, where it’s all Christmas all the time, is the perfect place to find an NMB souvenir or ornament. Callahan’s of Calabash also boasts a St. Nick Nacks area with over 150 trees and 4 million ornaments!

Find specialty shops and beach-themed gifts at Barefoot Landing. Shop for a couple hours or an entire day as stores are conveniently located close to each other in this family friendly shopping, dining and entertainment hub.

HOLIDAY FLAVORS

Savor holiday flavors this Christmas! The true gift of NMB is dining alfresco in December and enjoying milder temps.

Take in the sights as you dine at one of our waterfront dining experiences in NMB, like Flying Fish Public Market and Grill or Greg Norman Australian Grille. Try fresh seafood, holiday specials, and delicious dishes.

Make spirits bright this holiday season with a visit to Duplin Winery or Twelve 33 Distillery. Duplin Winery is a family-owned operation, primarily known for their muscadine wines. Try a glass of their seasonal varieties like their Christmas Wine or the popular Naughty & Nice.  Purchase a few bottles to take home for the holiday season or spread cheer and send a case as a gift. Twelve 33 Distillery distills their own spirits in house, and nothing is better after a long day of shopping than a taste of their famous Santa's Little Helper. This chocolate peppermint cream liqueur goes great in a cup of hot coco, or served chilled on it own.

Celebrate the sweetness of the season and indulge in decadent desserts. The cookie bar at Butter + Whisk will certainly have Santa coming back for seconds. While you're there pick up a few of their Cake or Pie Jars, a perfect gift for the holiday host with the most.

OUTDOOR FUN

Make memories this holiday season while exploring the outdoors. One of the best times to visit North Myrtle Beach is in the winter. Whether its spending time admiring the ocean or the natural beauty of the area, you’ll find outdoor fun that everyone will love.

Make time for a tee-time during your visit. North Myrtle Beach is home to some of the top courses along the Grand Strand and offer stunning views of our waterways and marshes.

Stroll the nine miles of pristine beaches or explore Waites Island on horseback. Inlet Point Plantation Stables gives visitors the opportunity to horseback year-round.
